Jim Lochrie
Jim felt the powerful draw of woods, lakes, and streams from early childhood and became a self-taught outdoorsman, cutting his teeth hunting squirrels and rabbits with a .22 and fishing for pan fish in a local creek. In college, he studied wildlife and fisheries biology at Michigan Tech, reveling in the surrounding wilderness of the UP whenever he could steal away from studies.

Now married and a father of 6, Jim enjoys deer, turkey, upland bird, and waterfowl hunting, and sharing his passion for the outdoors with his children and friends. An experienced recreational property owner, Jim has spent many hours cutting trails, and planting fruit, mast, and winter cover trees, as well as switch grass and wildlife food plots. He has also backpacked Isle Royal and the Canadian Rockies and climbed a few 14,000 foot peaks in Colorado.

Helping others fulfill their love of the outdoors and build a lasting legacy with family and friends is what motivated Jim to leave his successful career as an executive in vehicle development to pursue a career as a recreational property specialist. So, if you are scouting for your own piece of wilderness and solitude, Jim would love to help you find that perfect property to start building your own legacy. Or, if you are looking to sell your property, Jim will work hard to apply the right tools to market it effectively.
