40 secluded wooded acres in Greenleaf Twp, Sanilac County. Located 2 miles east of M-53, and at the end of a dead end gravel road. Property lies between a large forest that follows along the Cass River to the south, and a big section of farm lands to the north. Nice place to be if your looking for wildlife. Power line runs the full length of the parcel from east to west. Woods are a mix of mostly softwoods, poplars, maples, birch, and a nice grove of pines in middle of property. East end and the pines in the middle are the more open areas. Rest of property is pretty thick with young trees, brush, and grassy spots. All excellent bedding spots for whitetails. Property has a good population of deer, turkey, small game.

A two track trail runs east from the end of Ritter Rd, back down the southern edge of the property. The trail is the boundary between the listed acreage and a big chunk of Sanilac State Game Area to the south. Trail provides easy to access the entire 40 acres. A neighbor's driveway crosses from south to north thru the parcel approximately a third of the way from the western edge of the property. If you're in the market for a nice piece of hunting land with good access, located in an area with plenty of deer, you need to walk this one.

To find this one, M-53 to Ritter Rd east, to end of the road.
