Ogemaw County 40
SOLD

Nice 40 acre piece of hunting land near Prescott in Ogemaw County. Good population of deer, turkey, small game and sellers says he sees bear moving through on occasion, too. Interesting piece of property. Nice square shape to give you a little elbow room. The east and west ends are the highest spots, the middle is more level and bushier. The front 15 ish acres is a combination of oak, maple, poplar, pine and some scattered brushy areas. Good trail system winds through this area and leads to a couple nice tower stands and ground blinds. Liking these tower stands, the ones you can comfortably enjoy all day. One tower stand on the east end of the property, the other is about midway. The eastern blind had some nice secluded openings that with a little work could be great food plot locations. There are also some small openings in the mid part of the front that could be worked into plots.

The remaining acres are mostly heavy brush and will have wet areas. There is also a stand back in the brush where seller had cut shooting lanes. He sees plenty of deer in that blind too, but says the walk in and out is not an easy one. If you notice on the aerial, west of the creek, you can see the shooting lanes and the blind is in the middle.

The wildlife love all that thick brush for bedding cover and when dinner calls they make their way along the many runs up into the oaks to feed.

There are 2 gates for entry into the acreage. The middle gate has a nice parking / camp spot. There is power crossing the entire frontage of the parcel at the road.

There's a creek that enter the property from the north and meanders its way south, eventually emptying out into a lake on the southern neighbor's property.

You'll need an appointment and a real estate agent with you to be on the property. No land contracts or leases.
