The high ground at the back of the property is really nice, has a good mixture of hard and softwood trees, and plenty of places to hang a tree stand. The neighboring land beyond to the west is a combination of farmland and woods. There have been some nice deer taken from this land in years past. That's not surprising as this place has just what a wise ole buck is looking for: woods, water, a food source, and few folks bothering his bedding area in those lowlands. If waterfowl are of interest, those ponds nestled in the lowlands often have wood ducks and mallards paddling about.
